Georgia's Refugees and Resettlement Minister, David Darakhvelidze met with head of Poland's Office for Foreigners, Rafal Rogala as part of his visit to Warsaw.

The parties discussed the issues of future cooperation in the sphere of providing asylum, the Georgian ministry said. The representatives of the Office for Foreigners gave presentations on the integration of foreigners, determination of refugee status, reintegration of the citizens returned from exile, social care and legalization of foreigners.

The Polish side stressed the importance of these issues in the process of Georgia's integration into European structures, in particular, in the implementation of commitments under the agreements on the liberalization of visas and associations.

The Polish side expressed readiness to raise a question about Georgia's inclusion to European Network of Asylum Reception Organization as an observer. An agreement on the exchange of experts was also reached.
