Chinese company going to participate in major projects in Georgia

David Saganelidze, Georgian parliamentary majority leader and the head of parliamentary group of friendship with China met in Beijing with the CNEC company's leadership and the management board members.

The meeting was also attended by Georgia's Ambassador to China David Aptsiauri.

The parties discussed Chinese companies' participation in major projects in Georgia and the Caucasus, Georgian parliament told Trend on April 3.

Saganelidze spoke about Georgia's energy resources with regard to the construction of hydropower, wind power and thermal power plants.

He also spoke about the economic reforms that have been recently conducted in the country.

In turn the Chinese side presented video clips about various areas of the company's activity.

The parties also agreed on the Chinese working group's visit to Georgia in order to study prospective projects.
