Tbilisi holds a conference on "The legal consequences of illegal visits to the occupied territories of the Eastern Partnership countries" September 25-27, the press service of the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan told Trend Sept.25.

The conference will be attended by the head of the Council, Azerbaijani MP Azay Guliyev.

The event, held within the framework of the project supported by the Council, will be devoted to the preparation of specific proposals and measures to prevent illegal visits to the occupied territories of Georgia, Moldova and Azerbaijan.

The persons of high rank of Georgia, Moldova, Azerbaijan and other countries will participate at the conference, along with representatives of the UN, the OSCE and the European Union.

Guliyev's speech will focus on illegal visits to Nagorno-Karabakh and other occupied territories of the country, as well as their legal implications.

The event will also be attended by deputies Bakhtiyar Aliyev, Asim Mollazade and representatives of local civil society organizations.
