The number of visitors traveling to Georgia through Batumi Sea Port in February 2022 amounted to 232 visitors, which is a decrease of 3.3 percent, compared to 240 people over the same period of 2021, Trend reports via Georgian National Tourism Administration.
The same figure also decreased by 84.3 percent, compared to February 2020 (1,481), and by 78.8 percent, compared to the same month of 2019 (1,093).
Meanwhile, Poti Sea Port received 179 visitors in February 2022, which is a decrease of 33.2 percent, compared to 268 visitors over the same period of 2021, while the same figure decreased by 88 percent, compared to February 2020 (1,491), and by 88.9 percent, compared to the same month of 2019 (1,607).
The number of visitors traveling to Georgia through Kulevi Sea Port in February 2022 totaled 3 people, compared to 1 visitor over the same period of 2021. The same figure decreased by 98 percent, compared to February 2020 (153), and by 98.4 percent, compared to the same period of 2019 (190).
Meanwhile, the total number of international visitors to Georgia in February 2022 totaled 165,626 people, which is an increase of 293.6 percent, compared to the same period of 2021 (42,075).
However, the same figure decreased by 64.5 percent, compared to the reporting period of 2020 (466,409), and by 64.7 percent, compared to February 2019 (469,545).
