Georgia, Tbilisi / Тrend corr N. Kirtskhalia / The Romanian President Traian Basescu intends to visit Georgia on 10 September. According to the Georgian President's Administration, during his visit he will meet with his Georgian counterpart Mikhael Saakashvili.
Basescu will also meet with the Speaker of Georgian Parliament Nino Burjanadze, Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli and Catholicos Patriarch of Georgia Ilia II.
During the meeting bilateral cooperation and regional security will be discussed. Romania supports Georgia's intentions to enter NATO and the European Union.
The Georgian-Romanian business forum will be held within the framework of the visit.
