Turkey's car exports to China decreased by 20.2 percent over first two months of 2020 compared to the same period of 2019 and amounted to $17 million, Turkish Ministry of Trade told Trend.
The total value of Turkey's car exports to China exceeded $2.3 million in February 2020, which is 38 percent less compared to February 2019, the ministry said.
The value of Turkey's car exports to the world market amounted to just over $4.9 billion from January through February 2020, having grown by 1 percent, compared to the same period of 2019.
According to the ministry, car exports accounted for 16.7 percent of Turkey's total exports during the reporting period of 2020.
The value of Turkey's total car exports exceeded $2.5 billion in February 2020, which is 0.9 percent less compared to the same month of 2019.
According to the ministry, car exports accounted for 17.2 percent of Turkey's total exports in February 2020.
Turkey's export of cars from February 2019 through February 2020 amounted to over $30.6 billion.
