BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 23. Visa has established a partnership with Pesaflow to improve digital payments for its clients in Kenya, Trend reports.

According to Pesaflow, the collaboration will focus on improving digital payments in the Kenyan government.

The collaboration is also projected to considerably enhance and increase the efficiency, transparency, and inclusivity of government products, as well as promote financial inclusion.

To clarify, following this strategic agreement, the Pesaflow platform seeks to expand its services by offering optimized solutions for the public sector and citizens that use government products. This process will be conducted using Visa's network and security infrastructure. At the same time, the collaboration will focus on the creation of easy and convenient digital payment methods, such as digital cards and virtual cards, as well as secure gateway services.

It is planned that the Visa Government Solutions team will collaborate closely with Pesaflow to digitize government tools and integrate Visa goods. Furthermore, the cooperation will offer citizens and customers a variety of payment alternatives while also streamlining tax collection. This will improve and expand how firms handle their finances, save money, and provide government services.

Meanwhile, Pesaflow is a portal meant to provide a single citizen profile and quick access to over 5,000 solutions from various ministries, counties, departments, and organizations in Kenya's government.

Visa, a multinational payment card services firm based in the United States, has recently announced a number of collaborations and product launches in various parts of the world.

US fintech company Brightwell announced its partnership with Visa in January 2023 to enable Visa Direct payments to bank accounts and wallets globally. The strategic deal is expected to extend Visa Direct's extensive reach to more customers, optimizing overall fast and secure access to accounts and wallets as endpoints. Visa announced earlier in the month that it had acquired Pismo, a global cloud-based issuer processing and core banking platform. The integration of Visa and Pismo was to provide users with core banking and card issuer data processing capabilities, as well as all types of tools via cloud APIs. At the same time, the Pismo platform was to allow Visa to provide support and connectivity for new payment schemes as well as RTP networks for FI users.
