BAKU. Azerbaijan. August 19. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed the importance of reaching a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip in a telephone conversation with Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Trend reports.
This information was reported by the Deputy Head of the Press Service of the US State Department, Vedant Patel.
Blinken also expressed concern about the activities of Houthi rebels associated with the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen.
At the same time, the American diplomat thanked his Saudi Arabian counterpart for supporting negotiations to end the fighting in Sudan.
