At least 13 people were killed Thursday when Syrian troops shelled the southern province of Daraa, dpa reported referring to an opposition group.
"Shells were fired on the area of Ankhel, killing at least 13 and wounding many others," added the opposition Local Coordination Committees, which document violence across Syria.
