Libya's Deputy Prime Minister Mustafa Abu Shaqur Wednesday denounced the killing of four US officials, including ambassador Christopher Stevens, in an attack on the US consulate in the city of Benghazi the day before, reported Libya's official news agency.
"I condemn this cowardly and criminal act against the US consulate in Benghazi and the killing of Mr Ambassador and his colleagues," Abu Shaqur said in a tweet quoted by the agency, dpa reported.
