A network of seismological stations has recorded an earthquake measuring 4.7 on the MPV scale near Almaty city, Kazinform reports.
The quake with the epicenter in the territory of China hit 281 kilometers south of Almaty city.
It hit at 3:48 a.m. Almaty time at the depth of 5 kilometers.
