( ForUm ) - The Council of Ministers of Justice and Interior Affairs of the European Union has approved the Protocol with Ukraine to the Agreement on partnership and cooperation in connection with Bulgaria and Rumania joining the EU from January 1, 2007.
The corresponding decision was taken at the session of the Council of Ministers in Brussels on September 18.
On July 10 the European parliament rarified the Protocol to the Agreement on partnership and cooperation between Ukraine and the EU.
Ukraine and the European Union signed the Protocol on March 27, 2007.
