( dpa )- Finnish President Tarja Halonen was scheduled to meet Wednesday with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong during her two-day state visit to Singapore, the Foreign Ministry said. Lunch hosted by President SR Nathan and a visit to the Botanic Gardens for an orchid naming ceremony were also on her agenda. Accompanying Halonen, who arrived Tuesday night, is a business delegation including representatives from Finnair and Neste Oil, which is building the world's largest bio-diesel plant in Singapore. Officials from Nokia said that more than one-third of the company's global sales come from the Asia-Pacific region and China. They expect further expansion amid growing markets in India, China and Indonesia. Halonen, 64, is first woman to be president of Finland and has led the country since 2000. She was in Jakarta earlier this week. The final stop on her three- nation Asia visit is Vietnam, where she will meet political leaders and address a business seminar.
