( dpa )- Thousands of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon expressed anger late Saturday at the Israeli government over its continued attacks against the Gaza Strip.

"Death to Israel," shouted the angry crowd marching through the narrow streets of the Burj al Barajneh camp carrying black flags and pictures of young Palestinian children killed in the latest raids.

"Where are the Arab leaders? The Israeli killing machine is killing our children and the Arabs are silent!" shouted one angry woman.

Other women wept as they marched carrying candles symbolically to protect the Palestinian people from the Israeli attack.

The crowd torched Israeli and American flags and calling on the Lebanese Shiite movement Hezbollah to avenge the killing of Palestinian children.

"Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah (Hezbollah chief) avenge the killing of the little children," shouted the crowd.
