( www.cardesignnews.com ) - South Korean custom car manufacturer Oullim Motors have released official photos of their first vehicle, the Spirra S. This is actually the second sports car to be named Spirra, the original non S version was first developed in 2004 but never made it out of the show booth because of the company's dire financial complications before its production.

Billed as the first ever Korean supercar, the Spirra S is significant in Korean automotive history and performance and it features a definitive sports car stance and proportions, typical of a mid-engine vehicle layout. Measuring 4357mm long, 1924mm wide and 1216mm high, the Spirra S is rides on a 2660mm long wheelbase. Though without many distinctive styling characteristics, the design features interesting details such as new two-tone color treatment at the rear bumper.

Sourcing power from a 2.7-litre supercharged V6, the Spirra S is said to be capable of a 0-60 acceleration time of 4.8 seconds and is claimed to reach a top speed of 305km/h. The top of the range versions will command over $100,000 when the company begins taking orders mid-May.
