At least nine people have been killed and other six injured when a passenger bus plummeted some 700 meters down the road in Baitadi district in far-western Nepal Sunday afternoon.
According to eKantipur.com report, the police have reached the accident site for rescue operation, some 520 km west of Kathmandu, Xinhua reported.
Bus conductor Ram Bahadur Thapa is in police custody while the driver is at large after the accident.
The number of passengers on board has not yet been confirmed, according to the website.
