The radio unit of Russian air force and air defense forces on Monday started to install automatic system monitoring airspace in Russia's fareastern Khabarovsk Territory, Xinhua reported.
The new monitoring system, the scope of which includes the Primorye Territory and the Transbaikal Territory, will be installed in the city outskirts of Khabarovsk, the RIA Novosti news agency reported citing source.
The radio unit of Russian air force and air defense forces will be in charge of monitoring all military and civil flight courses within the region, including international ones.
Also, the new system will not be affected by unstable voltage and power cut. Russian armed forces have plans to install the new system in other regions of the country.
