Swedish Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel are expecting their first child in March, the palace said Wednesday.
The couple married in June 2010.
The princess was doing well and at present there were no plans to change her official programme, the palace said.
Victoria and Daniel Westling met in 2002 and were engaged in February 2009. Westling was Victoria's fitness trainer.
On Sunday, Victoria was scheduled to attend a memorial in Oslo, Norway, for the victims of twin attacks last month that claimed 77 lives.
