Greece's president confirmed on Tuesday that the country will hold new elections, following inconclusive talks on the creation of a coalition government, dpa reported.
The office of President Karolos Papoulias said a meeting of all party leaders was to take place on Wednesday at 1000 GMT to select a caretaker government until new elections are held next month.
