BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 15. Cyril Ramaphosa has been re-elected as President of the Republic of South Africa following a vote in the National Assembly (lower house of parliament), Trend reports.
Ramaphosa garnered 283 votes, while his rival, Economic Freedom Fighters party leader Julius Malema, got 44.12 ballot papers were spoilt.
South African Supreme Court Chief Justice Raymond Zondo declared Ramaphosa the legitimate president.
Presidential term in South Africa is five years.
