Minister of education of Ukraine: Ukraine does not have salary debts

(ForUm) - The government has practically paid off salary debts to teachers and workers of education sphere, as minister of education Stanislav Nykolayenko told journalists on the press conference, reports Trend.

In fact, we do not have salary debts, the minister noted and added that salary debts, if any, might make 0.1%.

At the same time he stated that the question concerning lack of staff is still open. We need 600 thousand teachers…according to data of August 23 we have 660 vacancies, the minister said.

The minister also reported that this year education sphere has been replenished with four thousand young teachers. He expressed a hope that the next year this issue would be solved finally.
