Ukraine's prime minister and President discussed urgent issues

(ForUm) -. Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych considers that President Victor Yushchenko will sign the draft budget bill for 2007, adopted by the parliament on Wednesday. The Premier told journalists Friday after the meeting with the President.

We were speaking about the budget. I think it will be approved and signed, Yanukovych said.

The Premier also discussed with the President results of his visit to the United States and preparation to a session of Ukrainian-Russian Yushchenko-Putin intergovernmental commission, reports Trend.

As far as I understand information received by the President there are no grounds to state that the visit has negative consequences. I think that the visit was successful, Yanukovych said.

The Premier and the President also touched upon prospects of development of strategic Ukrainian-American relations.

Yanukovych underscored that they discussed issues and agenda of the forthcoming session of Yushchenko-Putin commission, scheduled for December 22.

This is very important question in the view of energy policy in relations with Russia, the Prime Minister underlined.
