Week of Shuttle Diplomacy Turkish FM to Visit Four Countries

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will visit four countries this week, the Journal of Turkish Weekly reported

Foreign Ministry stated on Sunday that Davutoglu would hold meetings in Luxembourg, Germany, the United States and Russia between June 15 and 19.

Davutoglu will attend a working meal within the scope of a meeting of EU General Affairs & External Relations Council in Luxembourg on Monday.

Following his visit to Luxembourg, Davutoglu will proceed to Germany upon an invitation by German Foreign Minister Frank Walter Steinmeier, and hold meetings to discuss bilateral relations as well as regional and international matters. Davutoglu will also give a conference at Korber Foundation.

Davutoglu will visit the United States after Germany, and chair a UN Security Council meeting on Iraq on June 18.

Turkish foreign minister, during his visit to Russia, will meet Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and discuss bilateral relations and regional and international matters.
