Turkish Prime Minister has said what has occurred in Iran was shocking, but he believed that everything would get back to normal in Iran soon, Worldbulletin reported.

In his statement published in Spanish ABC daily, Erdogan said regarding incidents which took place after elections in Iran that he considered Iranian people would solve this problem and everything would get back to normal soon.

Turkey just follow the developments in its neighbor Iran, because every country had own values and mechanisms, he said.

"We can only observe the developments there and have to respect them," he said.

In regard to Turkey's EU accession process, Erdogan said, "we are advancing on the path of EU accession and we will not give up. We aim to become a full member of the EU."

Replying to a question on relations between the government and the military, Erdogan said, "they are better now. Secretary general of National Security Council (MGK) was from the military earlier. SG is civilian now. MGK conducts consultation and the government makes decisions."
