Over 5,000 ships arrive in Turkish ports in July

In July 2019, 5,242 ships arrived in Turkish ports, the gross registered tonnage of which amounted to 68.140 million tons, Trend reports referring to Turkey's Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure.
During the reported month, 2,159 ships flying the Turkish flag and 3,083 ships flying flags of other countries arrived in Turkish ports.
The gross registered tonnage of ships, which arrived at Turkish ports under the Turkish flag in July 2019, amounted to 10.907 million tons, and of the ships under flags of other countries equaled to 57.233 million tons.
In January-July 2019, Turkish ports received 31,113 ships, the gross registered tonnage of which amounted to 458.417 million tons.
In January-July 2019, the gross registered tonnage of vessels that arrived at Turkish ports under the Turkish flag amounted to 68.103 million tons, while the gross registered tonnage of vessels under flags of other countries equaled to 390.314 million tons.
