As many as 2,585 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Kazakhstan in the first 4 months of 2020, which is 11 percent more than in the same period of 2019, Trend reports on May 22 referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"Kazakhstan accounted for 0.7 percent of the total volume of cargo transportation by trucks from Turkey over the reporting period," the association said.
According to the UND, in April 2020, 479 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Kazakhstan, which is 32 percent less than in April 2019.
In total, 369,978 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad from January through April 2020, which is 8 percent less compared to the same period of 2019.
Some 79,909 trucks from Turkey transported cargo abroad in April 2020, which is 23 percent less compared to April 2019.
