As many as 2,763 Ukrainian trucks transported cargo from Ukraine to Turkey in the first five months of 2020, which is 3 percent more than in the same period in 2019, Trend reports on June 16 referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"Ukraine accounted for 4.19 percent of the total volume of cargo transportation to Turkey by trucks for the reporting period," the association said.
According to the UND, in May 2020, 514 Ukrainian trucks transported cargo from Ukraine to Turkey, which is 20 percent less than in May 2019.
From January through May this year, 65,957 trucks from different countries transported cargo to Turkey, which is 22 percent less than in the same period of 2019.
"In May 2020, 9,285 trucks from different countries transported cargo to Turkey, which is 51 percent less compared to the same month of 2019," added the association.
