Cargo volume delivered from Lebanon to Türkiye's ports announced

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 22. A total of 3.3 million tons of cargo were transported from Lebanon to Turkish ports from January through October 2023, Trend reports.

The data from the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure shows that Turkish-flagged vessels delivered 239,640 tons of cargo to ports in Lebanon, and vessels under the flags of other countries delivered 2.8 million tons.

During this period, Lebanese-flagged vessels delivered 204,999 tons of cargo to Turkish ports. A total of 180,132 tons of transit cargo were transported to Turkish ports from Lebanon from January through October 2023.

Türkiye's ports received 33.7 million tons of cargo in October 2023.

Cargo traffic to inland ports by Turkish-flagged vessels amounted to 2.4 million tons during this period.

Cargo traffic to Turkish ports via vessels under the flags of other countries amounted to 31.2 million tons.

In addition, 5.2 million tons of transit cargo were transported from Turkish ports in October 2023.

According to the ministry, Türkiye's ports received 326.3 million tons of cargo from January through October 2023.

Cargo traffic by Turkish-flagged vessels amounted to 24.1 million tons from January through October 2023. And cargo traffic by vessels under the flags of other countries to the ports of Türkiye amounted to 302.1 million tons.

A total of 56.9 million tons of transit cargo were transported from the ports of Türkiye from January through October 2023.

Türkiye's ports received 5,581 vessels in October this year.

According to the data, the number of vessels accepted in Turkish ports under the flags of other countries amounted to 3,764, and the number of vessels accepted under the flag of Türkiye amounted to 1,817 during this period.

Turkish ports received 51,186 vessels from January through October 2023. During this time, vessels under the flags of other countries accepted by Turkish ports amounted to 34,822, and vessels under the Turkish flag amounted to 16,364.

Türkiye's ports received 394 million tons of cargo in 2022.
