BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 9. Türkiye's Gemlik port received 3,405 ships from January through December 2023, Trend reports, referring to Türkiye's Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure.
According to the Ministry, during this period, the port of Gemlik received 1,075 vessels under the flag of Türkiye, and 2,330 vessels under the flags of other countries.
Meanwhile, Türkiye's ports received 60,195 vessels from January through December 2023 (40,918 vessels under the flags of other countries and 19,277 vessels under the Türkiye's flag).
The Ministry noted that in December, the ports of Türkiye received 4,697 vessels.
Information shows that during this period, the number of vessels accepted in Türkiye's ports under the flags of other countries amounted to 3,190, while the number of vessels under the flag of Türkiye amounted to 1,507.
