Azerbaijan's Rattan company producing wicker furniture intends to initiate exports to Russia this year, a source in the company told Trend.
“The negotiations are underway with Russian partners,” the source said. “The preliminary term of delivery is scheduled for April 2020. The company is developing new types of cottage style furniture, in particular, rocking chairs and mini sofas, which are also intended for export.”
“This year we plan to increase the production of furniture due to the great demand in the domestic market, as well as the offers related to the export abroad,” the source said. “The company's monthly income from the sale of furniture, as a rule, reaches from 150,000 ($88,235) to 200,000 manat ($117,647). This year, we expect to greatly increase this figure by expanding the range of furniture and export volume."
Rattan company, which produces stylish furniture from artificial rattan, is the only company in Azerbaijan that has united a professional team of designers and constructors of modern furniture.
