BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 20. The export of cars from Turkey to Azerbaijan in March 2022 decreased, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
According to the ministry, this figure amounted to $390,000, down by 41.7 percent on annual basis.
From January through March this year, cars worth $41.7 million were exported from Turkey to Azerbaijan, which is 1.09 times more than in the same period of 2021.
The total value of car exports from Turkey to international markets in March 2022 exceeded $2.6 billion (a decline of 6.7 percent compared to the same month of last year).
From January through March 2022, the total export of cars from Turkey to the international markets exceeded $7.4 billion, which is 2.7 percent less than in the same period of 2021, the ministry said.
In the past 12 months (March 2021-March 2022), cars totally worth $29.1 billion were exported from Turkey abroad.
