Barack Obama said during a bilateral meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, that he knew the "critical importance" of resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Anadolu reported.

Barack Obama said during a bilateral meeting with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, that he knew the "critical importance" of resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Anadolu reported.

According to report, two leaders discussed the problems of the Middle East, and also Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan during the meeting which took place in Pittsburgh.

President Obama welcomed the progress taking place in recent years in relations between Turkey and Armenia, and noted its importance for the entire region.
