Documentary film "Khojali Genocide in Azerbaijan" was shown in Spanish language in Mexico on the occasion of the anniversary of the Khojali genocide, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico informed.
The embassy as part of the international campaign 'Justice for Khojali,' prepared and handed over two web pages - www.justiciaparajodyali.org and www.justiceforkhojaly.mx in connection with the anniversary of the tragedy. These Internet pages contain information about the history of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, audio recording with details of the Khojali genocide, as well as a musical clip in the performance of Tony Blackman and group Deyirman.
International information and propaganda campaign "Justice for Khojali" was announced upon the initiative of the Islamic Conference Youth Forum for Dialogue and Cooperation for Intercultural Dialogue General Coordinator Leyla Aliyeva and started May 8, 2008.
Feb. 23, in the campaign "Justice for Khojali" in the capital of Mexico in Mexico City, National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), which is one of the most renowned institutions of higher education in Latin America, held a conference devoted to the 18th anniversary of the genocide in Khojali. The conference was attended by over 150 teachers and students of UNAM, the representatives of the accredited diplomatic corps in Mexico, Azerbaijanis living in Mexico and representatives of the local media. Speakers at the event provided detailed information about the history, consequences of conflict and the Armenian armed forces which have not released the occupied Azerbaijani lands.
