Seven Die, Four Injured in Traffic Accident in Azerbaijan’s Yevlakh Region

Azerbaijan, Barda / Тrend corr Sh. Jaliloghlu / A serious traffic accident occurred in Azerbaijan's Yevlakh region on 10 September. Seven people died, four were injured. A Ford truck and Gazel passenger microbus run one into another in the 293rd km of Baku-Gazakh highway in the Aran village of Yevlakh region.

As a result, Dilara Aliyeva, Ismat Ismayilov, Natig Pashayev, Rovshan Mammadov, Zarbala Hasanov, and Bahruz Huseynov died. The identity of one more victim has not been revealed yet. Zakir Osmanov, Vusal Aslanov, Huseyn Ahmadov, and one more victim whose name has not been revealed yet were delivered in semi-serious state to Yevlakh Region Hospital.

The cause of the incident is being identified at the Yevlakh Region Police Department and Prosecutor's Office.

Yevlakh region is located 300km west of Baku.
