Ukrainian President to Pay One-Day Visit to Azerbaijan: Ambassador
Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 June / corr. Trend S. Agayeva/ Azerbaijan and Ukraine will hold talks on high level in Baku on 30 June during one-day visit of the Ukrainian President Victor Yushenko, Talat Aliyev, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ukraine said to Trend on a telephone from Kiev on 21 June.
The set of issues on bilateral and regional cooperation will be discussed during the talks with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The President of Ukraine and Azerbaijan will unveil monument to the great Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko in the square in front of Friendship cinema in Baku.
The Presidents of Ukraine and Azerbaijan are expected to fly to Georgia from Baku to take part in the summit of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development - GUAM on 1 to 2 July, Ambassador said.
Apart from the GUAM leaders, Presidents of Poland, Romania, Lithuania, vice president of Bulgaria, vice speaker of Estonia and officials from Latvia, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and European Commission and other states and international organizations are expected to take part in the summit.
