Visa regime will not be introduced between Georgia and Turkey, Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said in Tbilisi.

"The information about introduction of visa regime between our countries from March 1 is not true," Tuzmen said.

Sarpi checkpoint on Georgian-Turkish border will be turned into the fast transition point, Tuzmen said.

This regime is being introduced on all Turkish borders with other countries, State Minister said. "We intend to increase trade volume with Georgia to $5 billion per year. So, we will have to equip new checkpoints on Georgian-Turkish border," Tuzmen said.
