Georgian Prime Minister familiarizes representatives of diplomatic corpus with situation in the country

Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri met with representatives of diplomatic corpus accredited in the country in Sheraton Metechi Palace hotel.

He held regular meetings with ambassadors twice per month and deliver them information about situation in the country, Gilauri told media.

Political and economic situation in the country was discussed at the meeting on May 22, he said.

"I got familiarize diplomats about the way of donor aid and any problems on this regard as most of them represent countries-donors. I asked them to continue rendering aid," he said.   

There are achievements in relations with donors. We expect for aid from the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank. If they planned to allocate $40 million, it deals with $85 million from the World Bank and $70 million from the Asian Development Bank," he said.
