Supporters of Georgia's radical opposition head to mayor's office to stage protest action

About 300 supporters of radical opposition have assembled in the sports palace in Tbilisi. Opposition leaders David Gamkredlidze, Eka Beseliya, bejan Gunava, David Berdzenishvili and David Usupashvili are also here.  

A group of participants of the protest action headed for the Tbilisi Mayor Office, one-kilometer walk from the sports palace.

Gamkredlidze said to journalists that the protest action in front of the mayor's office will last several hours. "In this way we will protest against pressure on patriarch by mayor Gigi Ugulava. We will demand mayor's office not to intervene with political events," he said.
