Kuwait combats spread of ideas of radicalism in Islamic society: deputy minister of Islamic affairs

Kuwait is making every effort to combat the spread of radical Islam, Adil Al-Fallah, Deputy Minister of Kuwait on Islamic Affairs, told journalists in Baku. "Moderation (Wasat) and prudence are the pillars of Islam, and they reject extremism and terrorism," Al-Fallah told Trend .

To study the problems that exist in the path of moderate Islam, Kuwait has established a special center for the dissemination of ideas Wasat, whose main purpose is to combat radicalization and extremism, said Al-Fallah.  

To prevent the spread of radical ideas in the Muslim society, it needs to take enlightenment work amongst young people, he said. "One of our goals is to prevent the spread of radicalism amongst young people," said Al-Fallah.
