The Georgian government has approved an action plan to implement a state strategy on South Ossetia and Abkhazia, Georgian Reintegration State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Temur Yakobashvili said today.

He stressed that the plan contains specific actions to turn the strategy into a reality.

Georgia will work in four main areas - humanitarian, human, social and economic - to implement the strategy, he said.

"We plan to create seven tools to do so," Yakobashvili said.

He stressed that the government will create a financial institution to ensure the implementation of economic, PR, trade and business projects in the two regions.

"We will start working tomorrow to create these tools to have concrete results by late 2010," he said.

Yakobashvili said high-speed Internet will be installed in the conflict zones to help implement these projects.
