Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev of the Azerbaijan Republic today received credentials of the newly appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Hungary to the country Zsolt Chutora, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
Ambassador Zsolt Chutora presented his credentials to the Head of the Azerbaijan State.
President Ilham Aliyev talked to the Hungarian Ambassador, stating that the bilateral relations are at high level. As a fact, the President reminded recent visit of the Hungarian Premier to Azerbaijan, expressed hope for further development of relations.
The Head of State noted that the Ambassador`s activity will be useful for rapprochement of both countries and wished success in his mission.
Ambassador Zsolt Chutora conveyed greetings of the Hungarian president to Mr. Aliyev, noting that he had several times been in Azerbaijan and reminded his meeting with the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.
According to Ambassador, the countries will in particular cooperate in the energy field, as both countries are for the Nabucco and AGRI projects.
President Aliyev thanked for greetings from the president of Hungary Pal Schmitt and asked to extend his greetings to his president.
