Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received newly appointed Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Alexander Mishchenko, the ministry told Trend.
Mishchenko expressed satisfaction over his appointment to our country. He stressed that the two countries have great potential for cooperation in several areas and that he would make efforts to further expand the Azerbaijani-Ukrainian relations.
Mammadyarov congratulated Mishchenko on his appointment and wished him success in his activity.
The meeting discussed various issues of mutual interest.
