Chairman of State Duma: Agreements between Azerbaijan and Russia make to feel positive

Agreements between Azerbaijan and Russia make to feel positive, chairman of the State Duma Sergey Naryshkin said on Monday.
Naryshkin noted that, the most extensive consultations and negotiations on both inter-parliamentary and inter-state cooperation were held.
"A joint meeting of two committees of the parliaments of Russia and Azerbaijan was held. We see great potential in the development of interparliamentary cooperation. We believe that we have not used this potential in full to date. But the agreements make to feel positive," he said.
"It should be noted that we generally have very similar and sometimes identical point of view on key issues of international life," Naryshkin added.
He noted that a wide range of relations between the two countries in economic, political, social and humanitarian spheres were discussed, which is very important today.
The humanitarian sphere of cooperation, according to Naryshkin, is a solid foundation for further development of relations between the two countries.
"I met with students, representatives of scientific and creative intelligentsia of Azerbaijan. I handed the diplomas, and it was a great pleasure to present diplomas to the students of the Baku branch of Moscow State University. Well, today I got great pleasure from meeting with students of Baku Slavic University. And yesterday I met with representatives of the creative and scientific intelligentsia.
We talked about the importance of science, culture and education in general in this global world and the importance of cooperation in these areas for our two countries, which are one of the leaders on the former Soviet Union area," he said.
Naryshkin noted that he discussed the development of Eurasian integration during the visit, which in recent years has received additional impetus. The prospects of Eurasian integration in different spheres - economic, humanitarian, political were discussed in detail.
