The arrests of Muslim Brotherhood members continue in Egypt, in particular political and religious leaders of the organization, Anadolu agency reported on Monday.
Thus, yesterday the police arrested one of the religious leaders of Muslim Brotherhood Salahaddin Sultan, who is also a member of the World Association of Muslim Scholars.
In addittion, yesterday former Minister of Local Development Ali Bishr was arrested. It is reported that Bishr organized and headed a lot of demonstrations in defence of Morsi.
The arrests of Muslim Brotherhood members began after the overthrow of ex-President Mohamed Morsi as a result of a military coup. Morsi himself, as well as Muslim Brotherhood leaders were thrown in Cairo's jail. He is accused of collaboration with Hamas and escape from prison in 2011.
