The non-oil economy has grown by 7.2 percent, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said in an interview with local TV channels on January 12, 2022, Trend reports.
"This shows that all our plans for the development of the non-oil sector are being implemented. As for industrial production, our total industrial production has increased by more than 5 percent and our non-oil industry has grown by about 20 percent. I think this is perhaps the highest figure in the world. Because if we put aside the oil factor, this figure is a reflection of real economic and industrial growth," the head of state said.
