BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27. It's a great honor to visit Azerbaijan, Georgia's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ilia Darchiashvili said at a joint briefing with his Azerbaijani colleague Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku on April 27, Trend reports.
According to him, relations between the two countries are based on historical ties.
Azerbaijan-Georgia strategic relations will continue to develop in the interests of the people of both countries, the minister noted.
"Economic and trade projects are being successfully implemented between the two states. The Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline and the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway joint projects have been carried out so far. These projects increase the attractiveness of our countries. Trade and economic ties between Azerbaijan and Georgia are at the highest level," Darchiashvili said.
