BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 18. Armenian illegal armed formations on the territory of Azerbaijan, where the Russian peacekeeping contingent is temporarily stationed, made an attempt to redeploy from 11:55 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in order to strengthen their positions opposite those of the Azerbaijani army in Khojavand and Fizuli directions, Trend reports, referring to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
"Azerbaijani army units took necessary measures to prevent illegal redeployment," the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
