Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev left for Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, the PresidentвЂ™s Executive Power told Trend.
The head of state is going to participate in a two-day summit of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) to start in Mecca on Wednesday. The President is also expected to hold talks with his counterparts from different countries.
The OIC, which was founded in September 1969, currently unites 57 member-states and 10 observers-states. Azerbaijan entered the OIC in 1992.
