Baku authorities proposes to 3 opposition parties to hold action in Motodrom on 11 Dec

The Baku Executive Power allowed 3 opposition parties to hold the rally planned on 11 December, the Baku Executive Power told Trend.

The Azerbaijan National Democratic Party (ANDP), Azerbaijan Liberal Democratic Party (ALDP) and Fedai (Patriot) Party addressed to the Baku Executive Power to hold a rally at front of Galaba cinema.

The Baku authorities sent the reply letter to the organizers of the action on Thursday. “During the rally of the opposition parties on 26 November the organizers did not fulfilled their commitments and called the participants of the rally to disobedience. As a result of this the participants of the rally showed resistance to the police and some policemen were injured. The criminal case was filed on appropriate articles of the Criminal Code in this regard,” the letter says.

Taking into consideration the violations taken place on 26 November, the Baku authorities regards holding of the rally planned for 11 December by the 3 opposition parties in �Motodrom’ stadium from 15.00pm to 17.00pm as expedient.
