The resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will become a key task of the OSCE in 2006, Karel de Gucht, the Foreign Minister of Belgium, who will take a chairmanship at the OSCE in 2006, stated
De Gucht noted that he plans to visit Azerbaijan and Armenia on 24 January 2006Рі. During the visit he is eager to set up talks on the peaceable resolution of the conflict. The Belgium FM hopes that an agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia will be achieved this year.
De Gucht noted that after the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan and Armenia in 2005 the general political situation has become improved, which promoted the negotiations over Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, RBK reported.
